Returns & Refunds Policy
This policy explains how consumers can cancel eligible orders, return shipping containers and receive refunds from CONTAINER SOLUTION PROVIDERS LIMITED. It also explains how we handle faulty or incorrectly described goods.
Last updated: 2 November 2026 · Company No: 13088917
1. Your Right to Cancel
If you are purchasing as a consumer under an eligible online or distance contract, you normally have the right to cancel without giving a reason within 14 calendar days after the container is delivered to you or a person nominated by you.
If eligible goods in the same order arrive separately, the cancellation period normally begins when the last item is received.
To cancel, email us a clear statement at sales@containersolution.org before the cancellation period expires. You do not need our permission or a specific form to exercise a valid statutory cancellation right.
You normally have a further 14 calendar days after notifying us to return the goods, unless we agree to collect them.
2. How to Request a Return
Please contact sales@containersolution.org or telephone +44 7451 254109 .
To help us identify your order, include your name, order or invoice number, container description and collection or delivery postcode where available.
Shipping containers are large items requiring specialist handling. We will provide appropriate depot or collection instructions.
Do not transport a container to our registered office without prior agreement.
Where possible, report damage or defects promptly and include photographs. Supplying photographs is not a condition of exercising your legal rights.
3. Return Transport Costs
For a non-faulty container returned following an eligible change-of-mind cancellation, you may be responsible for the direct cost of return transport only where we provided the required information about this responsibility and the cost or a reasonable estimate before you agreed to buy.
The return cost depends on location, access, distance, equipment and collection arrangements.
The standard £400 outward shipping charge must not be assumed to be the cost of returning a container.
Where UK law requires us to cover the return cost, including applicable cases involving faulty goods or inadequate pre-contract information, we will do so.
You should not arrange specialist transport before agreeing practical arrangements with us.
4. Refund Timing and Payment Method
We aim to issue eligible refunds within 10 calendar days from the applicable refund trigger, without undue delay and always within the statutory deadline.
- When you are returning the container yourself, we may wait until we receive it or receive evidence that you have sent it back, whichever happens first.
- When we have agreed to collect the container, the relevant refund period generally runs from the date we receive your valid cancellation notice.
- For refunds arising from faulty goods, your rights and applicable legal refund deadlines remain unaffected.
Eligible cancellation refunds include the goods price and the original standard delivery charge, as required by law.
If you chose a more expensive delivery option, reimbursement of delivery may be limited to the least expensive standard delivery option offered.
We normally refund by the same payment method used for the original purchase, including UK bank transfer, unless you expressly agree otherwise and incur no fee as a result.
5. Condition of Returned Containers
Consumers may inspect goods to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
We may make a deduction from an eligible refund for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary, where the law permits.
We do not charge a restocking or administrative fee for exercising a statutory right to cancel.
6. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumer goods must meet applicable legal standards, including satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and conformity with their description.
Consumers generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject goods that fail to meet those standards, subject to the applicable legal rules.
Further remedies, including repair, replacement, price reduction or a refund, may apply after that time.
The stated age or condition of a used or one-trip container does not remove your statutory rights.
We will handle reasonable return or collection costs as required by law.
7. Customised Containers and Business Orders
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to containers genuinely made to a consumer's specifications or clearly personalised where the legal exception applies.
Choosing an ordinary stocked size, colour or configuration does not automatically remove that right.
Legal rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods remain in place.
The consumer cancellation rules described above generally do not apply to purchases made wholly or mainly for business purposes.
Business returns may be subject to separately agreed contract terms, without excluding any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
